ban user from posting, but let him see the forums

Just like the title says. I want to ban a user from posting, but I want him to be able to browse the forums. Can I do this? If yes, can anyone help me do this?

Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Banned Users > Edit > Forum Viewing Permissions
