Howdy. I am having a hard time figuring out how to set the permissions properly for a category. I have a category that includes forums that not everyone should be able to view. For example, if I have forums A, B, C, and D under one category but I only want usergroup 1 to be able to view forum A, usergroup 2 to view forum B, usergroup 3 to view forum C, etc. - how do I set that up? Specifically, I want only those forums to which the usergroup can participate to show up for them, while keeping the others hidden from view. Right now I can only set it up so that either all the forums in the category are visible (even though the groups w/o permission cannot see threads within those forums), or the entire category is invisible - no inbetween. What am I doing wrong or is this not possible? Thanks for your help.

By the way, let me try to be specific for the sake of clarity. In my bulletin board, I have a category (a forum set to act as a category) titled "Private Forums" that is a parent to 5 private forums. Each of these forums is for a specific and separate usergroup. I want members of these usergroups to only see and access their respective forum within the Private Forums category. I hope that clears up any confusion. Thanks again. -
Please disregard or delete this thread. My entire problem was because I'm a retard. I figured it out and it was oh so simple. DOH! Sorry for wasting your time.Comment
