DataBase Error

Hi,
I moved my forum my linux server but ever few days db error occurs by itself. How can I understand why this error occurs?

What are the exact errors? The source code of the error page should contain the exact error.

The server has maxed out the number of MySQL connections it allows. This is a server-wide limit, not just your forums. You can try turning persistent connections off in your config.php:

$config['MasterServer']['usepconnect'] = 0;

But if you still have problems after that, all you can do is ask your host to raise the maximum number of connections they allow.

this connections are off now but I again face this database error at least twice a day

I have this problem, and my (very helpful) host assures me that I now have "unlimited connections" on my fairly small forum. Seems a bit odd...

There is no such thing as 'unlimited connections'. Your host either doesn't know what he is talking about or is not being truthful.

I made this option maksimum but this error happened again. This error makes apachie out of service not mysql. There are 400 users and guests more than 600. my cookie time is 15 minutes. do you advise me other ways, what can be the reason for this error.

The error you have posted is a MySQL error and not a webserver problem. By restarting the webserver, you will however also reset the connections to MySQL PHP had open.

But to fix it you will need to change the MySQL configuration.

Hi,
I changed my server settings like you said but I get the same error. Apache processes are redouble so much load avarage and use so much ram and cpu. When I closed and opened apache, it turns normal.

how can i set the maximum limit for apache
my apache and mysql hangs on same times of the day.
i use vbseo on vbulletin.. I see when google boots come to check my forum, it hangs.
what can i do for this, can you help me please?
my os is centos 3.6
1 gb ram amd 3200+
