Subscription problem

This is actually a blast from the past. I had this problem back in 3.0.3 and I've noticed that I'm still having problems.

Quick Refresher:

Basically my users can only subscribe or unsubscribe in the thread itself. They cannot unsubscribe or change their subscriptions from within their user cp. I created a new style with no parent and turned off plugins and the same thing is happening to me as well. To be honest, I don't even remember if the original bug fix ever worked for me. As far as I was concerned, it was a minor inconvenience, but as my membership continues to grow it's not so minor anymore......

Any ideas?

I have never seen this bug myself and it's certainly working fine in 3.6.1.

First, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file.

Next, disable all plugins.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally make sure these users change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do they have the same problem?

I just recently upgraded to 3.6.1 so all the files were reuploaded

Being a tech I understand the value of "rebooting a computer" but when the user tells you they did it already..........

In that case please open a support ticket providing AdminCP, FTP and phpMyAdmin login details so that we can look into this further.
