Hi,
To avoid some problems and spam, I do a moderation of the first post of a new member, then, use a promotion, which is when a user have more than 0 post, then, he switch to the new user group, which have specific privileges (like download, specifi forums, etc.
The problem is that some new users which first post have been approved, the post count don't change at all and remain to 0. Then, the promotion is not working.
I had this "bug" in 3.5.4 and I still have it in 3.6.1. This is annoying, because I have to enter by myself the number of post in the user profile in the adminCP.
If you take a look at this thread, you will see that Philly23 posts count is at 0, even if the thread have two posts : http://forums.polyloop.net/showthread.php?t=9251
