ok well im on a shared cluster of hosting and im not offered SSH/Telnet but i do have cron in my control panel which isnt cPanel but the host's custom script. this script is very limited and in my opinion very ugly and bad in GUI but it wont allow me to use cron command lines... itll only allow me to run scripts at x time and/or whatever so i was wondering if there was any other way to do an SQL backup daily or nightly? with a script? My forums arent very big as of now since i just opened yesterday (about 4 megabytes) but i have been hacked before and a daily db backup would be very nice. thx to all who helo
