Coping the complete CSS file

We have two skins; skin A and skin B. We need to copy the complete CSS file (all of them) from skin A over to skin B.

Surprisingly we found no place to do this on vB, but there must be a way to do this basic function.

So what's the secret, how do you copy the CSS file on vB

Download the style and rip the CSS from the .xml file?

Make skin B a child style of skin A.

There is no CSS file. vBulletin generates CSS in realtime based on what settings you've made in the control panel.

If you want skin B to be a copy of skin A with just a few changes, do what simsim says. The great thing is if you change something in skin A later, it will be reflected in skin B (as long as you have not also customized that parameter in skin B).

vBulletin has the option to store CSS in filesystem, as well as attachments. AFAIK, they're included in ./clientscipt/vbulletin_css folder with random generated names (i.e. style-60c8257a-00005.css).

But editing that file accomplishes nothing since it's overwritten the next time a change to the CSS control panel is changed.
