vBulletin News in Admin CP

I run a few vBulletin sites and i've noticed that now all are on 3.6.1, only one of my sites shows news from vBulletin in my admin cp, the others do not show anything.

Has something not be altered properly?

i noticed that the news appears for me unless i've used ImpEx, then it never appears again.

Well I got 2 totally new forums and the news appears. On forums i've upgraded, no news appears.

I just realised, the two sites were upgraded to 3.6.1 before i got the e-mail regarding the upgrade and I get no news.

New sites were installed after the e-mail and get news.

I've just upgraded a site today and it's working no problem with the news.

i still don't get any news to the site i used ImpEx on. my test site which is a clean-install does. go figure.

i get news on my test system ok, i can't see any news on our live system.
interestingly one of our other admins, logging on as admin as well can see the news.

I upgraded my live forum from 3.6.0 to 3.6.1 and saw no news. So I did a clean test install of 3.6.1 and still see no news.

I did download the vB files before the notification email - do you think they were changed?

OK, so I just did a fresh download and a fresh install to a test folder. Still no news. So now I'm thinking it's maybe something in the hosting environment that is causing this.

Any thoughts?

i've just upgraded 2 sites from 3.5.4 to 3.6.1 and rss works great on both :-)
I just wish it didnt pop up as "new" post hehe

The RSS feeds are fine, just the news from vb that shows up in admincp.

There's a modification named, "Opt-Out Forums from Get New Posts" on www.vbulletin.org which works well to stop forums from showing on get new posts.

now the AdminCP News is working for me after the upgrade to 3.6.2 - for note, i just deleted my whole forum files and uploaded all new files, then did the upgrade script.

Yep! I can now see the news panel after the 3.6.2 upgrade - obviously, there was a problem.
