How do I create a drop down menu for Calendar?

What I am wanting to do is to create a drop down menu for the Calendar link in the navigation bar at the top much similar to that of the Search and Quick Links and I want to include the little downward arrow to the right of it. Any idea's on where I might find the option to enable this feature? Thanks!
