    Edit this template:

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> BB Code Layout Templates -> bbcode_code

            First I recommend reuploading all the default vBulletin non-image files in ASCII mode, overwriting your current files. Also, turn off plugins globally in your vBulletin Options. Does it work then?

            If not, add a new Style and select 'No Parent Style'. This will force it to use the default templates. Switch to this Style, adjust the bbcode_code template, and see if it works.

              I don't understand what you mean. You can't use [code] in templates, only in forum posts. Can you tell us what you are trying to accomplish?

                Test it on a new post. Old posts might be cached.

                    You can rebuild the postcache in your
                    AdminCP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters

                        I really am not understanding what you are trying to do. The whole point of [code] is to display pre-formatted text such as programming code.

                        You want to block out part of what the users are posting? Or put some kind of banner ad or other advertisement?
