    When should I Update Counters?

I know some parts of the adminCP say you should update certain ones if you change this or that...but what about the others?

If I add/delete forums, should I "Rebuild Forum Information"?
If I add a new style should I "Rebuild Styles" or maybe just after I tweak a template?

When I should I Rebuild Similar Threads or Rebuild Search Index ?

    Heh, should I go on?
    Q

(I'll be doing a search here on repair / optimize tables as well...)

You won't have to rebuild any of the counters unless it says so.

What if I deleted a test thread last night and it suggested I do something but I was too scared to say yes?

How do I find out what it was that I didn't do?

Today I see one of the test threads is listed but comes up invalid if I click on it.

      Thanks,
      -Ron

Logged in as admin at http://Foreskin-Restoration.net/forum, from the main page I can see that the last post in this forum:
Foreskin Restoration / Intactivism Network > Foreskin Restoration > The Arts
Is "test" but when I navigate there, it says there are no threads.

          Thanks,
          -Ron

Try updating the thread and forum counters in your
AdminCP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters
