How do I stop the edit stamp?

How do I stop the last edited by <nickname> stamp that goes on messages when they have been edited?

Just edited this message, the stamp below.

Unfortunately there isn't a feature to completely disable this function, here is what I have to do.

    In the Admin CP:

vbulletin options > Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title > 5256000

vbulletin options > Time to Wait Before Starting to Display 'Edited by...' > 5256000

Then I have to edit my editpost template by commenting out the <!-- edit reason field --> area.

I hope in the future vBulletin will have a master off switch for this function so that we more easily disable it all together.

Actually this is a Usergroup setting:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup -> Show edited by note on edited messages?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

This does not prevent someone from inputing a reason why they edited the post and having the message appear.

Ok. Then I believe this requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.
