Adding home to navbar

hi, I have tried using

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]">Home</a></td>

which i found searching for help on this (i have very basic knowledge of editing templates) but it seems when i insert and click the home button that appears in the nav bar it comes up with the link www.bully-board.com/forums/index.php but i want it to just say www.bully-board.com/index.php

Can someone give me some help in rectifying this? thanks

Add the /:
