"duplicate post" error.

I fixed my other problems..but now I'm having another :P

It seems now (after upgrading to 2.6)...that after every post the message

"This post is a duplicate of a post that you have posted in the last five minutes."

comes up..even if you post 20 minutes apart. It does this for the quick reply or "post reply". It still posts the thread, but this error is quite annoying and some think their post didn't go through.

Make sure all the files are from 3.6

We upgraded from 3.5.3. I'm quite sure all the files are new ones..ive checked multiple times. Hmmm..

Check in the admin control panel > maintenance > diagnostic > suspect file version > if any of the files report back incomplete or invalid, or wrong version.

Also, turn off the plugin / hook system and see if this fixed it.
