  • Turn off Automatic password renewal?

    I saw this come up today, I didn't even know that the boards had that function. Is it just admins that the software does this to, or is it all members?

    If so, how can I turn it off?

    By default administrators only.

    AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Password Expiry.

      AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Password Expiry
      I updated my own forum yesterday, followed that chain of bread crumbs but didn't find that password expiry in my AdminCP. I have had to change it twice already and it is an annoyance

      Are there differences in the admincp?

        The Password Expiry is definitely in vB 3.6.0.

          It is in the usergroup settings, so:

          AdminCP --> Usergroups --> Usergroup Manager --> <Edit Usergroup> --> Password Expiry

          PS This is already there at least since vB3.0

            So it is, Steve. I just never noticed it before. Goes to show how often I edit my own permissions, eh?
