  • Post time issue

    Hi all.
My forum time is fine (at the bottom of the index) but when any user posts they are 14 hours behind the current time? So 2 hours back but Am instead of PM.

If you do a search you see the correct post time beside the result, but again once inside the thread teh time is incorrect.

Usercp's are set right, daylight savings is set to off, timezone is set to normal (but tried a few settings), language settings are all blank......any thoughts?

First I recommend reuploading all the default vBulletin non-image files in ASCII mode, overwriting your current files. Also, turn off plugins globally in your vBulletin Options. Does this problem still occur then?

If so, add a new Style and select 'No Parent Style'. This will force it to use the default templates. Switch to this Style and see if the error still occurs.
    Best Regards

Will do - I just noticed that when I post the time is correct - go out of the thread, and then return....the time is then wrong?

      Very unusual.

Hi Colin - no luck with any of the above - time is still incorrect.

In that case, please open a support ticket, providing AdminCP, FTP and phpMyAdmin login details as well as a full description of the problem.

Hi COlin...any thoughts on why? The time everywhere on the board is fine (including search and in the main forum) but in the actual post its screwed?

Talking theoretically what could cause this?

vBulletin fetches the time from the server, so I don't see what could be causing this. If you open a support ticket I'll gladly have a look at this though.

My problem was caused by a gallery add on...

A plugin in the vbpicgallery was causing it on my board.

Yup - same here. I suspected as much.
There is a fix posted so I've resolved the issue now. Thanks for your feedback. I wouldnt have found it otherwise.

Took me long enough to find it too, lol. I was sure i disabled all plugins and it was still giving me an error.I must have overlooked the gallery a dozen times..
