You can set a limit for that...

"Time to Wait Before Starting to Display 'Edited by...'"

Then if they edit within the first X minutes of posting, no one will ever know they edited it.

Unfortunately if the member decides to fill in the Edited By field then "Time to Wait Before Starting to Display 'Edited by...'" is ignored.

What we are asking for is a master switch that removes the Last Edited By field and all automatic functions dealing with this feature.
