  • Missing Registration Image

Hi there! Recently upgraded to 3.6 with minor issues but got it worked out. However, users are e-mailing us that the registration image to verify the letters is missing, which it is.

Is there a file I need to upload and where would it belong to get that working?

    Thank you!

Are you using GD or ImageMagick?

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Images Settings -> Image Processing Library

If ImageMagick you need to make sure that the fonts are installed on the server.

I'm using GD and it shows "GD Simple Font" with the preview being blank.

It worked in 3.5.4 but now the images are missing in 3.6.

Did I miss something when uploading the 3.6 files?

It looks like GD was not completely installed. Enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this problem.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Public phpinfo() Display Enabled

Your PHP is not compiled with any GD support. You or your host will need to recompile PHP with this support.

My personal test forum on my laptop internet information service had the same problem. I hope my real live forum doesn't have same. I am just uploading the files now
