  • Step by step guide to backing up

Can someone give me a step by step guide to backing up my database, i have no knowledge of how to do this so try to keep it simple please.

Also i have customised the style manually but its still called default style, will i have to do this all again and will all the settings remain the same.

    Thanks

    BTW I'm with lycos

Always backup: http://www.vbulletin.com/go/backup - I prefer through shell.

Contact Lycos, if you haven't already, and ask them how you can access your database. Is Lycos providing you with phpMyAdmin? If you can get into phpMyAdmin, for your site, the info at the link Floris provided should be useful.
