I use filezilla and have never had any trouble.

Alright, I'll download it and give it a shot. I'll post an update by tomorrow night because I'll be off for a while to take care of other business. Thanks a lot for the suggestion.

Yeah, well, apparently it doesn't. I tried uploading on "AUTO." I'm getting the same message I got with Dreamweaver.

This never happened to me before.

PHP files are ASCII. I was under the impression smartftp knows the difference.

Uploading question: which folders/files are ASCII?

I've downloaded SmartFTP. Now I just need to know which files are ASCII and binary. I understand that text files are ASCII. Does that mean I have to shuffle through each file within subfolders of the "upload" folder and transfer them accordingly? Some subfolders in the "upload" folder contain both images and text files, I noticed...

Or... do I just transfer everything as ASCII with the exception of the "image" folder? Thanks.
