Multi Quote and Quick Reply Issue (beyond first post)

I'm having an issue where my Multi Quote and Quick Reply buttons don't work beyond the first post. The first post works fine.. Multi Quote lights up and Quick Reply brings you to the quick reply box.. However, beyond the first post, upon clicking - nothing happens...

Now I know the fault is mine - I just don't know where to look to remedy the problem.. I've created a new style without any modifications to it, and everything works fine. So, this means the error lies within a template and not the plugin system. Correct?

Where might I look for my mistake?

    Thank you...

Well. I'm not sure what my problem was, but I reverted, added my changed - and now it works. So, my issue was somewhere in my modified postbit. Thank you!

LOL, yup, same thing here! Reverting templates after you've customized the heck out of 'em suck to weed through and edit back in your changes, but this one did for me too!

For those of you wondering and coming across this thread...

I had the same problem. Just removing the $spacer_close stuff at the bottom of the postbit (old template) corrected the problem for me. There's no way I was going to revert. :-) Thanks for adding in the diff-compare vB.
