  • Avatar Upload Error

    Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: vb_upload_userpic in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/profile.php on line 1918

    Any ideas what might be causing this? Ta.

    Most likely a hack or an improperly uploaded file. To troubleshoot this, remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.

    Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

    If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

      Hm. Reuploading the files and disabling hooks didn't work, but upgrading to RC3 did. Huzzah.

      Thank you!
