  • Forum width problems...

    I set my forums to 100% so that the top header would extend all the way across. Now this is working fine, but all of my forum is obviously 100% width. How can I get the header (the black strip across the top) to stay how it is, but make the rest of the page 80% width of the page or so?

    Can you post the contents of your header template in [code][/code] tags then we can see what you have there and advise.

      Code:
      <!-- logo -->
      <a name="top"></a>
      <table border="0" bgcolor="black" width="100%" cellpadding="10" cellspacing="0" align="center"><tr align="center" valign="bottom"><td height="30px" width="25%">SSS LOGO</td><td>HOME | FORUMS | SERVERS | SUPPORT | CONTACT</td><td width="25%"></tr></table>
      <table border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
      <tr>
       <td align="$stylevar[left]"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>
       <td align="$stylevar[right]">
        &nbsp;
       </td>
      </tr>
      </table>
      <!-- /logo -->
      <!-- content table -->
      $spacer_open
      $_phpinclude_output
      My main table width is 100%, but basically I just want whats in my header to be 100% and the rest to be like 80%. If you can help me with that I would be very appreciative

        Any help? I don't want to be a pest, but I don't think this is extremely hard to solve, I just don't know how. I am waiting on this to release my website and as it stands im losing quite a bit of money waiting on this =/

            AdminCP > STyles & Templates> Style Manager > StyleVars > Main Table Width

            Change this as require. It will not affect your header as you have coded the width for this into the template.
