Rearranging some profile tables

I tried asking this over at vbulletin.org as first priority, but haven't recieved any help, so I'm going to try here. To the vBulletin staff, I know this kind of stuff doesn't fall under being officially supported, nor am I expecting that it has to be, but since these are also user to user forums, and since this deals with small template changes and not full out heavy modifications, I'm hoping this is okay.

My aim is to better arrange some small parts of the profile page. I could explain it, but in this case, a picture will save a thousand words (see the first two attachments). The first is the typical layout, and the second is what I want. Alot of fourms don't commonly use the Public Usergroups, so that's empty, and if you have a decent amount of custom profile fields, your profile page ends up having most of the info stacked at the left, which is why I want to rearrange it.

I want to "Additional Information" and "Contact information" switched, and the "Public Usergroups" area removed, as we don't use those. I can modify templates a bit, but this is something I haven't been able to do. The best I could do was what the third screenshot shows. Can anyone help me? I've attached the MEMEBERINFO template (vBulletin version 3.5.8.). I'm sure for people who are good with HTML that this would be a simple thing.

I do not have this version anymore for security reason, but this is what I have done and you can follow the information within upload .txt. You just move HTML code that belongs to each by swapping places.


Just go to your [View History] while in editing template mode and compare the default with newly edit template.

3.5.8 is insecure? It's not as far as I know.

That's for the help, but that isn't exactly what I was looking to do. That solution would just stretch where the the Contact Info part starts way down the page, as that table row doesn't start until both of the top boxes above it end (and since the Additional Info one is quite long if you have a few custom profile fields, that watses alot of space, and the intent of this was to save space).

Either way, I worked an alternative solution out that's nearly the same, so this has been solved. I basically just removed the bottom two boxes completely, and put the content of the Contact Information box in with the Forum Info one (screenshot in attachment). It might not be as categorically organized, but it's still organized quite well, saves the space I wanted to, and is one table versus the three my idea would have needed.
