FullText Search Not Allowing AND Between Words

I have the fulltext search option enabled on my vb 3.5.4 forum. However, when using a search like: Blue AND Widget it is being automatically changed to Blue OR Widget.

Is something to do with MySQL database settings, of the forum itself?

Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Search OPtions ?

Turn on boolean search

Hmmm, I have no option like that in options.

I do have: Can Use Boolean Search (Only applies if Fulltext searching is enabled) under each UserGroup, but already have that turned on for each UserGroup.

AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Search Type

Which search type is it reporting that you have enabled? If you have the vBulletin search enabled then you will need to switch to full text searching using the tool found on that page.

Sorry, I do not know. Check with MYSQL.org for FULLTEXT perhaps.

Thanks Floris, I'll do that. I'm starting to think it maybe one of hacks I have installed. Steve suggested I disable them and see, which I'm going to do when time permits.
