Remove reply, but not thread?

In one of my forums, I had spam posted as a reply to a thread. How can I delete the spam reply only, but not the thread itself?

You can click on the edit button, from where you can delete it.

Ok, so just click the checkbox for the reply only and then go to edit for that reply. Got it, thanks. I deleted a thread last time and didn't want to screw it up.
