Problems with database(site down)

Out of the blue I'm having problems with the database. I get the screen that says There seems to have been a problem with the database.

How do I go about fixing this now? I called my host and they tried to help but they didn't find any errors coming out of the patch(I forgot his excatly). So I'm stuck on how to fix this.

I don't know if the following would help in figuring what is wrong. For the heck of It I tried to run the upgrade script to see If I can find an error message.

This whole thing is strange. I don't understand what caused problems with the database.

Thats a crash on the MySQL side of things.

with phpMyAdmin you should be able to run REPAIR TABLE datastore;

How would I go about runing that? Or should I have my host run it?

In your vBulletin download there is a script called tools.php in the do_not_upload folder.

Upload that to your admincp and then run admincp/tools.php

Select repair tables, chose datastore when it gives you a list of tables.

Once you've completed the repair remove tools.php

That is a no go, i get this

My host got the site back up by runing the repair on that table. One of the members happen to copy the original error message.

Warning: mysql_query(): Unable to save result set in /includes/class_core.php on line 404

Is there anything I need to do about this or no? Also should I run the repair tool on all tables? Everything on the site seems to be working so far.

It wouldn't hurt to run repair but I don't think it's necessary.
