    Yep, that'll do it

If you want to run queries, change this...
    PHP Code:
    $config['SpecialUsers']['canrunqueries'] = ''
    to...
    PHP Code:
    $config['SpecialUsers']['canrunqueries'] = 'X'
    Where X is your userid.

Cant use a mysql query in the admincp...

technically cant I just post a new post on the board and look at the ID of it?
    Like this....
    ....howthread.php?p=9846297#post9846297

Wouldnt that be technicall that last in the database?

    Try this...
    Code:
    SELECT
        postid
    FROM
        post
    ORDER BY
        postid DESC
    LIMIT 1
That will show the highest post number.

    Re-indexing PAST your total posts?

    Greetings all.

I have a board of 8.1 million posts as far as the main page of the forums say.
I reindexed the forums for the last 72 hours and when I came home (it was indexing while I was away)

I looked and it was reindexing post 8.3 million, how is this possible?

How can I actually tell how many posts we have on the forums?

    I am slightly confused.
