  • Changed servers, now images broke

I changed my site to v5a.net, but some images still link to the other site, and because of that they don't show. How do I fix it?

Change the URLs to your new site? I'm not sure what you're asking exactly. If you don't know how to do that, you must change the URL by editing the Style Templates, assuming they are manually linking to your old URL that way instead of using StyleVars.

Admin CP -> Styles and Templates -> Style Manager -> Stylevars -> Image Paths.

        Adjust as necessary.

That dosen't work either. It shows a path to the images like this: "styles/images_royale/misc/royale_title.jpg" but some of them work and some don't, how do I get all of them to work. It's not a hack problem...

If it is showing the path to the images rather than the image it self it means the image doesnt exist in the path it is searching.

Then you have to update your templates to not point to the full path.

what do you mean? the style vars don't have a full URL,it just has the image path without the http:// stuff

Any image not obeying the Stylevars would have its full path hardcoded in the templates themselves. You will have to change those templates. If you search in the templates with the bad URL, it will list all the templates you need to change.

I see no need to alter the templates. Only alter the paths in your style manager to full images directories paths.

For example change the paths from:
                        styles/images_royale/misc/

                        to:
                        http://www.v5a.net/vb/styles/images_royale/misc

It should work without a single problem.
You're spending millions of dollars on a website?!
