  • VBulletin and XBox Gamertag Avatar & Sig error

    Hello,
Recently I made the jump to VB and for the most part I’ve been extremely pleased. With that said I seem to have one main issue that I have yet to resolve surrounding my site and setup.

Previously with other sites (Aimoo & PHPBB) I was able to utilize URLS for Sigs and Avatars from the following site listed below. If you go to the site and say enter in my Gamertag for the Xbox (Blindf8th), it provides a valid URL that can be associated with any user that wants it. The trouble comes when anyone attempts to utilize that URL in there Sig or Avatar. I’ve checked permissions and file types. I’ve modified the postbit pages, but have not found a way to do this. I’ve been told that VB does not like dynamic URLS (which I think this might be), but I can’t imagine that this is too hard to do. My site is geared around Xbox360 so for my user base it’s pretty important. I’m at the end of my road with options, so I’m hoping for a fix from those that know VB best.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to get this corrected. If I need to pay I will

The error received is listed as: Invalid URL, but when you check the link to my Gamertag above its clearly valid.

Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.

    Desperate,
    Blindf8th
