  • Including unique sponsors on forum index

    I want to have unique forum sponsor images display for each forum on the main index (list of forums).

    To do this I need to be able to include a unique php or html file for each forum. This is to act as the "forum sponsor" and pull a piece of ad serving code (again, unique for each forum).

    I have inserted an extra table cell in the proper area, and have been reading up on hooks to try to create one that will be able to be used here.

    The PHP code in a regular page would look like:

    <?php include("/path/to/forum/sponsors/$forum[forumid].php"); ?>

    The only thing I can think of to come close is something like:

    But that doesn't seem to parse properly. Is there a way to do what I'm trying
    to do?

    Thanks in advance...

    <a href="sponsors.php?sponsor=$forumid"><img border="0" src="images/sponsor/$forumid.gif" /></a>

    You could make a sponsors.php file which reads out the id for each unique sponsor to make the redirect + count link work and the image will display just fine if you make them like id.gif for each sponsor.
