Thread link to external site

Hi guys,

Let me trying to explain as clear as possible as to what i am trying to do.

I want to have a sticky thread, when click on the link to the thread, it will bring me to another site that i specified instead of going into the actual thread.

I would imagine this needs modification of the database?

This would require an addon or plugin from vBulletin.org. There is no mechanism in vBulletin to redirect threads to an external site.

You could set up a subforum within that forum that is a link to an external site though. It would still appear at the top of the display.

I don't know if there is a specific plugin there for this purpose. However, all modifications are there. There is also a request forum if it doesn't exist. Maybe one of the coders there will pick up the project.
