  • Demo mode

    In init.php I noticed
    if (defined('DEMO_MODE') AND DEMO_MODE AND function_exists('vbulletin_demo_init_db'))
    When do I want to enable Demo mode? And how do I enable it?

    You don't want to enable it. It's only used for the vBulletin demo on this site.

      Haha, ok, thank you!

      I guess it's something that it will forget the settings made, when the user is loggin out?

        Demo Mode is what we use here on vbulletion.com for demos, it is slightly more locked down than normal.

            I would like to know how to set is_demo_mode() to true in the config.php file for my own purposes. Can a dev give me the code to use in the config.php file to enable is_demo_mode()?

            Thanks

            EDIT:
            Nevermind. I figured it out...
            PHP Code:
            // in the config.php file....
            define('DEMO_MODE'true);
