  • Log In problem for Registered Members - must use 'remember me'

I just upgraded several of my site to 3.5.4, and now my members are having problems logging in. Here's what happens...

They enter their USERNAME and PASSWORD, then click log in.

The system shows the "Thank you for logging in USER NAME..." page, however, instead of returning to the main page as a LOGGED IN member, they are presented with the FORUM HOME page for UNregistered members.

The only way to log in, for the moment, is to click REMEMBER ME before you click LOG IN.

    Please advise...

In the admincp, what are the settings for cookie domain, cookie path and cookie timeout? And in the config.php file what is the cookie prefix variable set to?

      And in the config.php file

The cookie path should be set to /

            In the includes/config.php file

            PHP Code:
//    Prefix that all vBulletin cookies will have
//    Keep this short and only use numbers and letters, i.e. 1-9 and a-Z
            $config['Misc']['cookieprefix'] = 'bb'
