You'd need to use MySQL Full Text searching I believe. I'm taking a guess you are using the old style vBulletin searching.

This worked, is there a way to solve this issue and have similar threads on?

What are you users searching for? either a very uncommon word, or a word that is returning a heck of a lot of results.

    functions_search.php on line 329

Quite a few of my users recieve this error message when starting a new thread:

Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/bikef/public_html/includes/functions_search.php on line 329

Any ideas? Clearing cookies helps for some, but not others. The problems is only an issue to some users in some forums, but not others.

    I'm lost.
