  • Need help with a conditional

    Hi;
    I'm looking for a conditional to display content if the member is of a specific usergroup, something like:

    <if user is of usergroup "advisors">
    some random content
    <a href="test.php?username=<membername>
    </if>

    The parts in bold would be the 2 conditionals I need help with. I'm looking to display this next to the quick reply and regular reply templates, if that makes a difference. Tried a few things, but just can't get it working. Thanks!

    <if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, x)">
    some random content
    <a href="test.php?username=$bbuserinfo[username]
    </if>

    Go into your Usergroup Manager and find out the id of the Advisors usergroup.
    x = advisor's id

      Thanks! And there I was trying to get it to work for days, messing with the wrong variables. Does this conditional support more than one usergroup though? Something like:

      <if user is of usergroup "advisors" or "adminstrators">

      Thanks,

        <if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, x,y,z)">

        X for one group id Y for another, z for yet another.
