When one does a search within vB, it spits out a "searchid" How long do those last? I noticed that they expire. How can one manage this properly so they don't expire

These are deleted roughly once per hour. Changing this requires requires modifying the code and may cause unforeseen problems. We cannot officially support

NP, I was just trying to setup static popular searches where a user can click on a link and it would search for that text each time clicked.

If I create that searchid and post the URL when other people click that link they get an error message:

"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Why is that?

Because the searchid gets deleted from the database after a bit.
