  • Thread Redirects

I'm afraid to do this without asking because the thread in question has multiple posts to it and it would be a shame to lose it all over a mistake.

I have a thread that I originally moved to a more appropriate forum. I left a redirect. I'd like to remove that redirect without it deleting the thread too.

Can I just select the redirect, and admin>delete it? Will that just delete the redirect, or is it going to kill the thread too?

    Thanks.

Go to the real thread. The one where you can actually read the posts. Then go to the first post, above it is a threads tools dropdown. From it select ' remove redirects ' and they're cleaned up - the thread won't be deleted.
