  • how to undo a deleted thread by a user

Is there a way to undelete threads that are deleted by users? I see that the thread was deleted in the 'moderator log' in the admincp and I can open the thread, but I do not see that thread listed in the forum it was removed from and do not see where to undelete it in the thread. Is this possible?

    Thanks.

If it's soft-deleted you should see it in the forum display where you can undelete it.

Is there an option where you can prevent users from being able to do full/hard deletes? Are those deletions logged in the moderator log?

      Thanks Steve.

Regular members shouldn't be able to hard delete. You need to set each individual Moderator permmissions here:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Show All Moderators -> Edit -> Can Physically Delete Posts -> No

Note: You cannot stop Admins and Super Mods from hard-deleting. And yes, these deletes should show in the Mod log.
