    Access denied, this means that you don't have permission to connect to the database from that host, or with that user.

      Interesting... I was able to access it before i did the upgrade, and i has shut the forum down....

      How can I access it then/...

          Make sure you're not using the config.php file from version 3.0. But am using the one from 3.5.3

          And that the values for the variables are correct. You can compare them against the ones from 3.0.

          No, restoring the forum files over an upgraded 3.5 will break the forum.
