  • Error In Latin?

    I get this error when restoring

    Code:
     #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'DEFAULT CHARSET=english' at line 6
    This is line 6 and 7:

    DROP TABLE IF EXISTS access;
    CREATE TABLE `access` (
    `userid` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
    `forumid` smallint(5) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
    `accessmask` smallint(5) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
    PRIMARY KEY (`userid`,`forumid`)
    ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;

    How can ifix this? I copied and pasted half my old vb restore, into a new one, restoring 1 by 1.

    Change all the table structure lines with:

    ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;

    to

    );

    And they will import better. You will run into a few more errors of this kind, this is due to differences between mysql versions.

      ) ENGINE=MyISAM should be left that way if the server is setup for InnoDB by default

      ) ENGINE=MyISAM;

      Instead of );
