  • Forum Information Error

    There seems to be an error with forum information for one forum and its subforums. I tried to 'Rebuild Forum Information' to no avail.

    So far as I know, Admins and Head mods see how many posts and last poster correctly. Users see '0's in only that forum and its subforums.

    Support would be great, thanks!

    Sorry but I don't understand what those images are supposed to show. If you are getting errors then please post the exact errors.

      The thing is that is the error. There are indeed posts in that forum, to staff it shows normally and to members it shows that there have never been posts in that forum but when they enter it all the posts are there.

        Sorry, I still don't understand. What's the URL?

          Sorry for being unclear!

          You can login with the following information;

          Username: Test Account
          Password: test

          You see the 'Ferry Avenue' forum? Threads, Posts, and Last post say '0' and Never for users.

          But for Administrators it shows - Threads: 19 - Posts:66 Last post: Today 11:10 PM

            First, try updating your thread and forum counters (in that order)

            Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters

            Then if you still have this problem, remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.

            Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

            define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

            If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

            Next, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?
