  • Uploading MP3 audio & getting.....

    Hey

We have converted many files to mp3 for upload to the board. This is what we are getting:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1239478 bytes) in /www/cgi/forum/includes/class_core.php on line 666

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 0 bytes) in Unknown on line 0

    What is this?
    How is this corrected?

There are two things you can look at.

    1 is vBulletin related.
Admin Control Panel > Attachments > Extention Manager
Here you have to set the max allowed filesize for .mp3 extentions. Make sure it is enough to cover your .mp3 upload

    2 is Hosting related.
Check with your host to see if you have permission to upload files up to a certain filesize like your mp3. Usually a host limits an account to upload no more then 1 or 2 MB.
