Conditional for a deleted thread

Could someone point me to the conditional which can be used to display that the thread has been soft deleted? Same for a single post (to be used in showpost.php)

We had moderators confused when they had a bookmarked thread which didn't display any reply buttons, etc.

Perhaps thread management options should also be there.

All good now, thanks. PLayed around with it a bit. Basically use $post[visible] for posts, and $thread[visible] for threads. Can't figure out how to check if the post is within a deleted thread, but it's not crucial.
