How can I convert my vBulletin posts from using Latin 2 (ISO-8859-2) encoding to Unicode (UTF-8)? I have thousands of posts that I need to convert, so I cannot do it manually. Through a web search I found the command iconv, but I am not sure if this will work.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

There's currently no way to do this in vBulletin. All I know is that you'll need IconV for this.

Possibly you can find further help on the IconV website...

      Thank you for your response.

Do I convert the complete vBulletin database to Unicode or are there some tables that should not be converted?

Dont use unicode with vbulletin. I've createt my gentoo on unicode-base and because the incompatibility of vbulletin i had to recreate mysql without utf8
