    I think it might have something to do with your style.

    Your sputnik music style, #19, shows the black bar but when I change the style the ads are showing up. Since some of the styles are showing two ads and others are showing only 1, I assume your customizing this in each template? It shouldn't make a difference except that its odd you'd have two ads under 1 style and only 1 ad in others.

    So I think you should follow up with the creator of that style to see where the problem might be.

    My guess is that the creator of the style added the navbar links to the header template and deleted the variable that calls the navbar. So... try adding your ad code to the header template instead.

    Google Adsense JS works fine with vBulletin.

    We are not responsible if you add non-vB code that conflicts with our code. We are only responsible for supporting our code.

    Having said that I really have no idea why your non-vB code is not working - and yes I have looked at it. Again I suggest you ask for help over at www.vbulletin.org.

    2 seperate companies? I don't understand why you won't at least look for a potential javascript conflict... it's not like I'm the only vbulletin user trying to display ads.

    I'm not asking you to look at their code, but at yours, to see what is preventing external javascript from loading. I don't have the ability to manually edit the vbulletin javascript backend, nor would I want to, for fear of potential problems.

    Please just look to see if there is anything in common between these two scripts, and if there is some mistake in your javascript that is preventing this.

    Ideally, vbulletin should not conflict with javascript code that forum owners need to ad to their sites to keep them online. Please at least look at this... I have been using vbulletin since 2001, I'd like a little support, without you guys dismissing this problem so casually :/

    It is custom code in the respect that its not ours.

    Its more than possible their javascript is conficliting with vBulletins inbuilt.

    This is not custom code. This is code from two of the largest ad networks in the US. It works completely on all non vb pages, but not within vbulletin pages. I believe this is covered in vbulletin support... it is your coding backend that is preventing this from loading. It is normal, fully functioning javascript.

    I don't think that it is unreasonable to ask that this work for vbulletin... almost all large sites use ad code, and it should be compatible.

    I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, but could you please let me know if you are at least looking at it?

    I have used vbulletin for 2001, and this is only my second support issue that I can recall. Please help =)

    bump... I really need this as a revenue stream, and it seems to be a problem with vbulletin, not on my end.

    started a topic Ad Code Javascript Not Displaying on Vbulletin

    Ad Code Javascript Not Displaying on Vbulletin

    I've tested two different ad codes on my other sites and they work perfectly. However, when placed into a vbulletin template, they do not display at all. It appears to be a problem with vbulletin or some hidden setting?

    Example: http://www.musicianforums.com
    Under the navbar, a black strip appears. This should contain the ad.

    Javascript:
    Code:
    <!-- TF 728x90 JScript VAR NoAD code -->
    <center><script language=javascript><!--
    document.write('<scr'+'ipt language=javascript src="http://a.tribalfusion.com/j.ad?site=Mxtabs&adSpace=ROS&size=728x90&type=var&noAd=1&requestID='+((new Date()).getTime() % 2147483648) + Math.random()+'"></scr'+'ipt>');
    //-->
    </script>
    <noscript>
       <a href="http://a.tribalfusion.com/i.click?site=Mxtabs&adSpace=ROS&size=728x90&requestID=1403000196" target=_blank>
       <img src="http://a.tribalfusion.com/i.ad?site=Mxtabs&adSpace=ROS&size=728x90&requestID=1403000196"
                      width=728 height=90 border=0 alt="Click Here"></a>
    </noscript>
    </center>
    <!-- TF 728x90 JScript VAR NoAD code -->

    I tried another javascript from a different company, and this also failed to display:
    Code:
    <!-- Casale Media 2005 (C) -->
    <!-- Ad Format: Leaderboard -->
    <!-- Domain(s): musicianforums.com -->
    <script language="Javascript"><!--
    var d=new Date();var r=(d.getTime()%8673806982)+Math.random();var uu=escape(window.location.href);
    var wh='" width="728" height="90" ';var host='.casalemedia.com/';var dc=document;
    var fr='marginwidth="0" hspace="0" vspace="0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no">';
    dc.write('<ifr'+'ame src="http://as'+host+'s?s=68047&u='+uu+'&f=2&id='+r+wh+fr);
    dc.write('<a hr'+'ef="http://c'+host+'c?s=68047&f=2&id='+r+'" target="_blank">');
    dc.write('<i'+'mg src="http://as'+host+'s?s=68047&u='+uu+'&f=2&id='+r+'&if=0'+wh+'border="0"></a></ifr'+'ame>');
    //--></script><noscript><iframe src="http://as.casalemedia.com/s?s=68047&u=http%3A%2F%2Fmusicianforums.com&f=2&id=1"
    width="728" height="90" marginwidth="0" hspace="0" vspace="0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"><a
    href="http://c.casalemedia.com/c?s=68047&f=2&id=0" target="_blank"><img
    src="http://as.casalemedia.com/s?s=68047&u=http%3A%2F%2Fmusicianforums.com&f=2&id=0&if=0" width="728"
    height="90" border="0"></a></iframe></noscript>
    <!-- Casale Media 2005 (C) -->

    Google Adsense displays fine on the page, but these fail to load. I need these banners to have revenue to support my site.

    Also, I have searched and not found similar issues. Is this a known problem or a specific case?

    Thanks.
