    Linux Red Hat
    Apache/1.3.34 (Unix) PHP/4.4.1
    Dedicated Server under our control but we lease the box from Verio
    MySQL 4.1.15

    Database error in vBulletin 3.0.1:

    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT wordid, title FROM word
    WHERE title LIKE('Contest')

    mysql error: Incorrect key file for table 'word'; try to repair it

    mysql error number: 1034

    Problem occurs when trying to search for word such as 'Contest'.

    Any ideas?

    To fix this run Repair/Optimize in the Admin CP. You may need to run it more than once to fix all

    Admin CP -> Import & Maintenance -> Repair/Optimize Tables -> Check All -> Continue

    Also you need to upgrade to 3.0.12 as soon as possible to fix some security issues.
