  • VB3.5.0: Views Counter=Replies Counter +1

    Dear sir,

I'm a proud owner of VB 3.5.0 that i purchased from your site.

We installed on a Win server (i know it sux, but we had to do it that way for other web application reasons)

I have see on the net, other web site running 3.5.0 with the same problem.

Actually, on any on our forums the VIEWS Counter simply didn't display the correct VIEWS of a thread, and it's always Views Counter = Replies Counter +1 ...

We changed the design, and make our own template, but the web site i have visited with same problem have original template and same error.

    So i have some questions.

Is this a common problem ? i have searched those forums and can't find something similar.

Is this because we need to upgrade to 3.5.3 ?

Is this because of WIN ? may be the other site is on WIN also, don't know.

Well any help is welcome !....

Best Regards and thanx for your nice product.

    Btw, i have tried this:
"o you can enable the thread views to update immediately, try that and see if the views change:
AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Server settings & Optimization Options -> Update Thread Views Immediately -> Yes"

But it didn't change anything to our problem.
I also know it's updating every 1 hour, until we change that, but the problem is there since 1 months and +

First you should upgrade to 3.5.3 then see if you still have this problem with the latest version.
