remove poster's name from calender event

I don't want the poster's name to appear in a calender event. I looked in the calender_showeventsbit template and there is some code that suggests I can turn the option off but I cannot find it in the admincp.

If not then I guess I can just remove that line of code for the username couldn't I?

There's no option, but you can replace this:

<if condition="$show['postedby']"><a class="bigusername" href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$eventinfo[userid]">$eventinfo[musername]</a><else />&nbsp;</if>

with

 

which should remove the username.

thanks for posting back! I have lots of "helpers" and it's distracting to have that also added to the calendar - the users get confused if that person is actually responsible for the event in the calendar or just posted it
