  • Linux SQL3 to W2K SQL4/5

I have dumped the mysql3 database and with I import this into mysql4 or 5 on a windows box i get the following error:

ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 654: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'desc text NOT NULL,
parent int(10) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
    subs tinyi' at line 5

What do i have to do to import this??

    Thanks in advance!

This is most likely due to an incompatibility between the MySQL versions. Unfortunately I do not know how to make a MySQL3 db backup compatible with MySQL4 or 5.
